[conquerx2 Tips] Ships/Factories/Resource planets

1. To win war, you need to build more ships than your enemy. And the best choice in general is the CRUISER.

The strongest ship is, of course, Dreadnought. But if you use same amount of resources, Battle ship is the best.

Golden Rule:
Battle ships > Cruiser > destroyer ~ Missile destroyer > Corvette > Fighter.

But Battle ship has problems: speed and fuel. If you don't move your fleets a lot, battle ship will be good. But if you have many planets and have to move fleets to defend your territory, fuel problem for battle ship is very serious. So if you want to build them, it should be for defense.

2. It takes a lot of time and resources to have a ship factory planet. So having multiple factory is a very bad idea. (Or, you are doing a favor to your enemy) 

Golden Rule:   Don't build many factories. Improve your factory and take your enemy's.

If you have less than 20 planets, build ships on your home planet only.

What is a nice factory?
1. parts plant level 10...if you want to build big ships.
2. Huge resource storage(over 20)...so super earth is very good for a factory.
3. Minimization lab level 30...it saves a lot of resources when you make the big ships. Rush to level 20 or 25 then go to level 30 when you have enough resources.

Nano is also good to have but less important.

All the other planets are resource planets. Build trade centers, residential facilites..trading posts etc.

3. Defense - defend your planet using Marines/Anser sat

Golden Rule:
Defend your planet using Marines/Anser sat not defense tower

1. Defense Factory is not so good. Don't build it too much. It costs more credits than ships(in terms of ratio) and less powerful.

2. To defend your planets, have lots of Marines so that your enemy can't conquer your planets in a single attack. If you survived the first attack, fill out marines using carrier or frigates.(Yes, you can move marines)

3. Anser sats on all the planets where your ships are. If you don't have one, you wouldn't know if your enemy send spy sat or not.
Your frontier planets should have at least 100.

4. Don't fight if you would lose. Ships are more important than planets.

5. Crazy Strategy: A is very strong enemy, B is you, C is your ally. B has some ships but much less than A. C has some frigates only. C has very low score.
If A attacks B's planet, you can do the following. Let C take your planet before A does. Then be a friend of C so that you can support your planets to the planet taken by C. If A attack the planet(now C's), A will get serious damages on its ships due to score penalty. (Some guys did it! http://www.conquerx2.com/?comment_sr...ent_srl=723085)

...Sounds hard? It is. Build ships before war. It's much easier.

[Conquerx2/유럽서버] 그린실드 만료 기념 후기

 모처럼 다시 컨커를 한지 약 보름이 지나 드디어 그린실드가 풀렸다. 이번 포스팅에서는 그동안의 플레이 결과를 정리해보려고 한다.

먼저 은하계 전경과 함께 포항스틸러스의 현 상황을 살펴보자.

현재 위치한 곳은 3나선팔 끝부분으로 은하계 북부 지역이다. 점수는 약 9100점, 랭킹은 171위. 행성은 8개. 소속제국 Unity Consortium에서는 Commodore(보급관인가?)을 맡고 있다.

유럽 서버의 평온함을 보여주는 장면이다. 쌍둥이 슈지를 이웃유저와 함께 하나씩 나눠 가졌다.

유럽서버는 사실상, 첫 국제 서버라고 할 수 있다. 한국서버는 주민등록번호 등의 인증절차 때문에 외국인이 플레이하는 것이 불가능했고, 기대를 모았던 일본서버는 한국유저의 지나친 초반 진출로 한국 유저를 막아, 역시 외국인과 함께 플레이하는 것이 곤란했지만. 이번 유럽서버는 주민등록을 이용한 인증절차나 특정국가 유저 제한 조치가 없기 때문에 국제전이 얼마든지 가능하다.

실제로 게임 내 제국에서도 출신국가별로 제국을 설립하는 사례가 보인다.

체코와 슬로바키아 유저만 받는다는 Czech Team.

일본 유저만 있는 제국 EARTH.

그리고 랭킹 44위 KOREA. (제국 홈페이지 대신 깨알같은 레아시스 기자단 링크!)

 분명이 나름대로 특징이 있는 유럽서버인데, 안타깝게도 유저가 그리 많지는 않은 상황이다. 계정만 만들어 놓고 떠난 사람을 빼면 실제로 꾸준히 하는 사람은 500명쯤일까? 컨커 자게에 가서 한국 유저들을 불러모으면 바로 헬게이트가 열릴 것 같아 차마 거기에 홍보를 하지는 못하겠고..

Conquerx2 유럽 서버 제국 탐방

유럽에 진출했다니 가보지 않을 수 없다.

오늘은 유럽 서버의 상위권 제국들을 살펴보려고 한다.


먼저 제국 랭킹(2013.8.21)

Nova Solaris가 68만점으로 1위를 달리고 있고
-V-M-이 약 44만점으로 2위,

그리고 The Sith가 약 30만점으로 3위를 달리고 있다.

그 뒤를 20만점대 제국 셋이 뒤따르고 있다.

1위 제국 Nova Solaris의 세력 분포도. 은하 중앙부를 거의 장악하고 있다. 예전 1서버의 농협을 연상시키는 제국.

2위 -V-M-의 세력도. 은하 중심부에서 서쪽에 주로 분포하고 있다. 나선팔을 건너는 유저도 있는 것으로 보이고, Nova Solaris와 함께 제국 코어가 존재하는 유이한 제국이다.

이렇게 두제국이 사실상 패권을 두고 겨루게 될 것 같은데...

함대 랭킹을 보면 -V-M-이 더 강한 유저들 위주로 이뤄진 것을 짐작할 수 있다. 장기적으론ㄴ -V-M-의 승리를 점쳐본다.

3위 시스의 분포도. 코어라고 할만한 게 없으며 이렇다할 강한 유저도 없는 상황. 제국이 어떻게 운영되고 있는지는 알 길이 없으나 한국 1서버의 시스와 비슷한 길을 걷게되지 않을지...

 이 조용한 유럽 서버에서 한국 사람이 없나 찾아보던 중 매의 눈으로 나를 포함 모두 3명을 찾았다. 한분은 닉네임이 Korea고, 다른 분은 Zerg(저그형 플레이를 하시려나?). 거기에 오늘 한국에서 접속한 사람을 우연히 한명 더 찾아 이메일을 보냈는데!

 두둥.

 한국에서 접속한 일본인이었다!
 그리고 채팅창에서 독일어로 채팅을 하고 있다!

바로 unity consortium http://unity.forumotion.org/ 의 황제인 sailbagami.
국적 상관없이 잘 지내보자는 제국 소개가 맘에 들어 또 제국을 옮겼다.

 한 클럽에서만 계속해서 뛰는 선수를 보통 원클럽맨, 여러 클럽을 전전하는 선수를 저니맨이라고들 하는데, 내가 딱, 저니맨 놀이를 하고 있다. 게임한지 3일만에 3개 제국을 돌아다니고 있는 중.


그나저나 시끄럽던 컨커 자게가 그립다. 유럽 서버 포럼은 너무 조용한 듯.

보상이 다양하다.

아직은 은하가 크게 자라지 않았다.

 의외로 세계각지에서 접속한 걸 확인할 수 있었으나 한국인은 거의 없고, 거의 대부분은 독일사람들이다.  서버 시간도 독일시간 기준. 

안타까운 영어화. 3 hours before가 아니라 3 hours ago를 쓰는 게 맞다.
