[Conquerx2] Beginner's guide

Now you have a single planet...don't know what to do?
Most important thing is to do Planet Attack Quest(I,II,III)

First, you need Space control. Build construction control level 3(?)
Then go for Space control level 2 or 3.

While doing this, check quest tab(on your left..the thing with(?).
Go to Scenario tab there and click

The Frontier [0/22]

Galaxy Exploration [0/20]

The History of Flagship Research I [0/12]

Click progress until you can't. You will get some resources there. And then, you can start Exploration. You can only do..

Planet Interior Exploration

Do it.


Then, you will get 5 probes. Attack nearby abandoned planets using probe. Send them 1 by 1. If you do this 10, 20 and 50 times, you will get 30000, 50000, 100000 resources...


To get these resources, you need to build some buildings: Have

trade center 1, Crystal,Gas Storage level 1.

Finishing Planet attack I, use the resources to build

Crystal mine level 5, Gas Extractory level 5, Trade center level 5.

Also expand your storage to get 50000 resources.

Expand Crystal/Gas Storage 

Keep attack abandoned planets..to finish 50 times quest. Now, let's build Freighter to get rich!

Parts plant level 1,2 Shipyard level 1

 Start build Freighters. Go to Production tab-> Parts Production and make Hyper Engine(Upper left corner), Cargo Bay(Lower right corner). Build 100 -400 Freighters..it depends where you are. Use resources to build

Trade center 6(or 7) Crystal/Gas level 10.

Barracks.

Now you have some Freighters to pillage abandoned planets. It is time to conquer & conquer planets. First you need to build Frigates.

You can check the parts you need to build Frigates as follows. Go to production tab, Use pull down menu to select Frigates. The you see yellow numbers as below.



You need the following buildings

Part plant level 3, Nano Process center level 5, Marine Drill Ground level 3 

and Barrack level 10, Construction tech lab level 11

Build lower level buildings first. Your level will go up soon and you get some skill points. Use them for construction. Then you can build buildings with less resources. Also, don't forget to attack abandoned planets.

It is good idea to make parts first before you can build Frigates. If you check http://rheasis.blogspot.com/2013/09/factory-optimization.html, you will see you should start building Life Support system in advance because it takes 50% of the time.

First goal is to have 96 Frigates. Because you get 5 Frigates as bonus when you have 20 of them, you need to build 91. 96 is the minimum to conquer abadoned planets with level 1 in a single attack. (Of course, it's also ok to attack many times to occupy planets)


Once you conquer a planet, you will need to restore construction control. It costs 50000*(number of planets - 1) credits. In most cases, abandoned planets has little creit, so you should transport your credit to your new planet. To do this, you need trading post. Build

Construction control level 5, Residential facilities level 5, Bank level 3 and trading post 1

It takes long time. But once you have Residential facility level 5, you will get 50000 bonus resources. Also with trading post, you can do

Dark Force Alchemy 

, which is a dark magic that transform your Gas/Crystal to credit using Dark Force.


Now you are ready to conquer. You will lose your newbie shield once you conquer 2nd planet. If you get more than 1000 points before Newbie shield expires, you get 250 Dark Forces.


Here are some tips about the abandoned planets.
* Special planets have defending forces. Never attack them with Frigates. Frigates are not for combat. Don't waste them.
* New-born planets have 1000 marines. It will grow but if you attack earlier, you can save your marines.
Check galaxy news/Find out new rulers and their Green shield expire time. Using the Green shield time, you can find out new-born planets.
* Turtling vs Expansion: You can conquer all nearest planets. It is easier to defend your territory. But harder to pillage abandoned planets.
