Resource planet: If you produce cruiser using 2 shipyard for a day, you would get 38 cruiser per day. The required resources for 38 cruiser with minimization lab level 30 are

Credit 525,000  (21875/ hour)
Crystal 2,289,000  (about 90000/hour)
Gas 1,655,500  (about 70000/hour)

So, you need resource planet to run the factory planet.

Crystal Mines/Gas Exactory
At least, Level 10. The more the better but it costs lots of credit. It is worth to spend more credits for special planets, though.

Crystal Storage/Gas Storage
At least, Level 10. This is minimum to build trade center level 9.
If you want trade center level 10, you need level 14 storage.

Crystal Refinery/Gas Works
You can build these if you have level 10 Crystal Mines/Gas Exactory. Less effective than Mines/Exactory but costs much less credit. I recommend level 10 or more.

Trade Center
Rush to level 5, then 7, 9, and 10. More the better but level 10 costs some resources. So, it is also good to stop at level 9.

Construction Control
If you occupied some planet, you need to restore construction control. Go for level 4 in any case. Level 5 is expensive but you need it to build Residential facility/bank. If you have bank level 3 already, then it's good to stop at level 4 unless population is not increasing.

Barrack
Unless your resource planet is super safe, you should defend it by barrack. Check your/your enemy's carriers and build barrack so that your planets is not occupied in a single attack.

Residential facility
Population = credit. Someday your population will be most valuable source of credit. Level 5 is required to build bank, so have level 5 at least.

Trading post
This is one of the most important building for resource planet. The more you have, you can save energy.
If you have built 10/13/10/10/13/10, I recommend Level 9.


Espionage Agency level 3, Sat factory level 1
You need Anser sat. Without it, you wouldn't know if someone is spying you.

Research Structure - NEVER!
If you really want it, build robotics lab. But I think you should not. Unless you keep building, robotics lab is not necessary.

Auction house
Sometimes you get parts on resources planet.(Empire help, enemy's etc..) If you have an auction house, you might able to sell it.
Also, you can use auction house to destroy your parts/sats before you lose your planet. If you create an auction and lose your planet, the auction will just disappear! - That means your enemy can't use it.
