[conquerx2 Tips] Ships/Factories/Resource planets

1. To win war, you need to build more ships than your enemy. And the best choice in general is the CRUISER.

The strongest ship is, of course, Dreadnought. But if you use same amount of resources, Battle ship is the best.

Golden Rule:
Battle ships > Cruiser > destroyer ~ Missile destroyer > Corvette > Fighter.

But Battle ship has problems: speed and fuel. If you don't move your fleets a lot, battle ship will be good. But if you have many planets and have to move fleets to defend your territory, fuel problem for battle ship is very serious. So if you want to build them, it should be for defense.



2. It takes a lot of time and resources to have a ship factory planet. So having multiple factory is a very bad idea. (Or, you are doing a favor to your enemy) 

Golden Rule:   Don't build many factories. Improve your factory and take your enemy's.

If you have less than 20 planets, build ships on your home planet only.

What is a nice factory?
1. parts plant level 10...if you want to build big ships.
2. Huge resource storage(over 20)...so super earth is very good for a factory.
3. Minimization lab level 30...it saves a lot of resources when you make the big ships. Rush to level 20 or 25 then go to level 30 when you have enough resources.

Nano is also good to have but less important.

All the other planets are resource planets. Build trade centers, residential facilites..trading posts etc.



3. Defense - defend your planet using Marines/Anser sat

Golden Rule:
Defend your planet using Marines/Anser sat not defense tower

1. Defense Factory is not so good. Don't build it too much. It costs more credits than ships(in terms of ratio) and less powerful.

2. To defend your planets, have lots of Marines so that your enemy can't conquer your planets in a single attack. If you survived the first attack, fill out marines using carrier or frigates.(Yes, you can move marines)

3. Anser sats on all the planets where your ships are. If you don't have one, you wouldn't know if your enemy send spy sat or not.
Your frontier planets should have at least 100.

4. Don't fight if you would lose. Ships are more important than planets.

5. Crazy Strategy: A is very strong enemy, B is you, C is your ally. B has some ships but much less than A. C has some frigates only. C has very low score.
If A attacks B's planet, you can do the following. Let C take your planet before A does. Then be a friend of C so that you can support your planets to the planet taken by C. If A attack the planet(now C's), A will get serious damages on its ships due to score penalty. (Some guys did it! http://www.conquerx2.com/?comment_sr...ent_srl=723085)

...Sounds hard? It is. Build ships before war. It's much easier.
